Update: 23 year old man shot to death in Windsor

Windsor police were called to the area of 1100 block of Heathfield Court on October 4th at approximately 1:30 am on report of shots fired.

Police arrived at the scene to find several witnesses screaming that someone had been shot. Police found the 23 year old man suffering from a gunshot would outside of a home.

The victim was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries. No other information has been released at this time.

Update November 6th
On November 5th, at approximately 11:30 pm Windsor police seized a white Pontiac Torrent from the 7300 block of Tranby Avenue that was believed to be involved in the incident. Two men were arrested in relation to the homicide on November 6th at approximately 8:00am. Police have not released any other details at this time.

Update November 7th
Neil Tap, 20, of Windsor has been charged with first degree murder, 4 counts of breaching a probation condition and 2 counts of possessing a firearm while prohibited.

Idrisso Palmer, 19, of Windsor has been charged with first degree murder and breach recognizance .

Dazzmirhal Scott, a 24 year old female from Windsor has been charged with 2 counts of being an accessory after the fact to murder and possession of a prohibited weapon (unrelated to the murder).

Windsor police have issued a warrant for the arrest of Sumar AL-Rubayi on a first degree murder charge. AL-Rubayi is described as a middle eastern male, 5’10”, 200lbs with short dark hair and brown eyes.
