Update – Lam Diing, 23, a wide receiver for the University of Waterloo football team dies of a stab wound

Kitchener Police responded to an altercation outside a residence on Kenora Avenue, April 15th at 12:05am.

Police discovered a 23 year old male suffering from an alleged stab wound. The victim was rushed to hospital where he dies of his injury. The victim’s name will not be released until his next of kin is notified.

A 22 year old man has been arrested, Police cannot release his identity until he appears before a Justice.

Update April 17th

Police have identified the deceased as Lam Diing. A post-mortem determined the cause of death to be stabbing.

Nicholas Salim Ndayisenga, 22, from Kitchener, has been charged with one count of Second Degree Murder.
