Gilles Marion facing first degree murder charge in relation to the death of his step son

Montreal police responded to a report of an assault at an apartment building located at 18th Ave. between Mont-Royal Ave. and St-Joseph Blvd. in Rosemont on November 19th at approximately 1:50pm.

Police arrived to find a 21 year old man suffering from a serious gunshot wound. The man was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.

Police said a family dispute is believed to be the origin of the conflict.

A 75 year old man, who is believed to be the victim’s stepfather has been arrested.

Gilles Marion 75, is facing a first degree murder charge in relation to the shooting death of his step son Abdel Hakim Fleury 21.
