Toronto Homicide #87 – 3 month old infant dies of undisclosed injuries

Toronto police and paramedics responded to a call for assistance on October 18th at approximately 10:50 am, at 263 Pharmacy Avenue.

Emergency crews arrived to find a 3 month old infant with obvious signs of trauma. The infant was rushed to hospital and placed on life support where she succumbed to her injuries.

Matthew Bouffard, 29, has been charged with aggravated assault pending autopsy results.

Toronto Homicide #86 – Stephen Louis MacDonald stabbed at Kennedy Subway Station, dies in hospital

Toronto police responded to reports of a stabbing  at the Kennedy Subway Station, on October 20th at approximately 5:45pm.

Police and paramedics arrived to find Stephen Louis MacDonald, 28, of Toronto, with obvious signs of trauma. MacDonald was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.

Mohammad Raswoli, 20, of Toronto, has been charged with second degree murder.

Update Arrest Made – Emilie Maheu found dead in South Glengarry township, Police treating her death as a homicide

OPP said the body of Emilie Maheu, 26, was found in South Glengarry township on October 13th after Maheu was reported missing on October 11th.

Maheu was last seen on October 11th  leaving her place of work in Alexandria at approximately 1:00pm.

The cause of death has not been released at this time.

On October 16th Police arrested Brandon SMELTZER, 25, of Bayside, Nova Scotia was located in New Brunswick and charged with First Degree Murder.

Calgary man dies of a gunshot wound in the city’s latest homicide

Calgary police responded to report of a shooting at a home in the 100 block of Signal Hill Circle S.W., on October 12th at approximately 11:00pm.

Police arrived to find one man deceased at the scene, and another injured man. The second victim’s condition has been upgraded to stable.

15 Year Old boy Charged With The Murder of a 16 Year Old Girl in Regina

Regina police responded to a report of a  weapons offence on October 14th at approximately 12:30am,  in the 900 block of Cameron Street.

Police arrived to find a 16-year-old  girl suffering from serious injuries. Despite life saving efforts the girl was pronounced deceased at the scene. The victim’s identity will not be released on request of her parents.

Regina police arrested a 15-year-old on October 14th and charged him with Second-degree murder. The youth cannot be named in accordance with the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

Sumeet Randhawa shot to death in Surrey BC

Surrey RCMP responded to report of a shooting in the 6700-block of 130 Street, on October 11th, just before 2:00pm.

Police and paramedics arrived to find  30-year-old Sumeet Randhawa of Surrey, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite life saving measures, Randhawa was pronounced at the scene.

Mr. Randhawa was known to police and they believe the attack was targeted.

Ophélie Martin-Cyr found dead in a farmers field in Yamachiche QC

Sûreté du Québec said the body of Ophélie Martin-Cyr, 19,  was found by a farmer in a field in Yamachiche, Que. on Wednesday October 10th. investigators said Martin-Cyr, body showed signs of violence.

Francis Martel and Rene Kegle have been arrested in connection with the death of 19-year-old Ophélie Martin-Cyr. Martel​ has been charged with the first-degree murder of Martin-Cyr and being an accomplice after the fact.

Toronto Homicide #85 – Roy Zamora, shot to death in the Keele St.-Wilson Ave. area

Toronto police responded to a report of a shooting at 21 Camborne Avenue on October 12th at approximately 2:30pm.

Police arrived to find Roy Zamora, 26, of Toronto., in a vehicle in medical distress with obvious trauma. Zamora was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police are searching for two suspects, described as men, 18-25, 6’0″, wearing all black. They were last seen in a grey-coloured hatchback vehicle.
