Ottawa Homicide 13 – Man dies after stabbing outside the Shepherds of Good Hope

Ottawa police were called to the Murray Street shelter on November 18th at approximately 5am on report of a stabbing. On arrival police and paramedics found the 45 year old victim,  suffering from a serious stab wound.

According to The Ottawa Citizen, the victim is Adrian Johnson. Johnson was rushed to hospital when he died of his injuries.

Adrian Johnson was known to police for drug related incidents.

Police have not arrested any suspects at this time. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Major Crime unit at 613-236-1222 x 5493.

Calgary Homicide 26 – Man found dead in Forest Lawn

Calgary police were called to a residence in the 1800 block of 38 Street S.E. on November 15th at approximately 12:30 pm on report of a man in medical distress.

On arrival police said  “officers experienced the impacts of pepper spray”. Once they were able to search the home police located the victim who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are searching for 29 year old  Deibi Francisco Monterroso Salazar (Pictured below). Anyone with information is asked to contact the Homicide Tip Line at 403-428-8877.

Update November 16th
Deibi Francisco Monterroso Salazar was located by RCMP in the  Strathmore area, where he was arrested without incident.

Calgary Homicide 25 – 15 year old boy dies after serious assault

Officers responded to a call in the 5500 block of Maddock Drive N.E on November 15th at approximately 5am on report of an assault.

Police located a 15 year old in medical distress. The boy was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.

A suspect has been taken into custody. Investigators believe there is no risk to the public.

Police said a homicide occurred at the same address in 2016.

Update: Police investigating the death of a 39 year old Sturgeon Falls woman.

West Nipissing Police responded to a disturbance call at an apartment on William Street in Sturgeon Falls on November 14th at 11:30pm.

Police found an injured 39 year old woman in the apartment. She was rushed to hospital where she died of her injuries. A man was arrested at the scene.

Police said the investigation is criminal in nature. No other details have been released at this time.

Update November 19th
The victim has been identified as Tammy Avery 39. Marc Pierre Gauthier, 52, has been charged with first degree murder.

Victim dies after Halloween night stabbing in New Westminster

New Westminster police were called to the area of Eighth and Columbia st on October 31st on report of a stabbing.

The victim was located by police in serious condition and taken to hospital. On November 14th the IHIT released that the victim had since passed away.

Tow people have been taken into custody, however police are not releasing any other information at this time.


Victoria Head found dead in St. John’s

Royal Newfoundland Constabulary responded to a report of a deceased female in the area of O’Brien Farm on Oxen Pond Road on November 11th at approximately 8:20am.

An autopsy was completed revealing the identity of the victim as 36 year old Victoria Head, and the manner of death to be a homicide. Police are not releasing the cause of death at this time.

Police believe that Victoria Head may have been involved in the sex trade industry, which may be connected to her murder. Police are urging people involved in the sex trade industry, to be extra vigilant.

Toronto Homicide 54 – David Blacquiere dies of a stab wound

Toronto police were called to the area of Weston Rd. and Little Ave on November 14th at approximately 11:50am on report of an injured man.

Police and paramedics arrived to find a man in his 50’s suffering from a stab wound. The victim was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.

Update November 14th
Toronto police have identified the victim as David Blacquiere. 54, of Angus, Ontario. Police are currently searching for Demetrius McFarquhar, 24, in relation to the death of Blacquiere.


Update November 19th

Toronto Police has issued a warrant for the arrest of Christopher Enrique Gordon, 18. Gordon is wanted for second degree murder. He has been described as 6’4″, 150 lbs., with a slender build, and black hair in braids.

Benoit Bertin 19, charged with first-degree murder x2, attempted murder and arson

Six Roads RCMP responded to a report of a house fire on Route 150 on November 12th at approximately 1:30 am.

Police arrived to the scene to the home fully engulfed in flames. A man was able to flee the building and was taken to hospital , and a 19 year old man was found a short distance from the scene and arrested.

When the fire was extinguished police located a man and a woman in the home, both of whom were deceased. Police have not released the names of the victims at this time.

Beniot Bertin, 19, has been charged with two counts of first degree murder, attempted murder and arson

17 year old boy dead in Meadow Lake shooting

Meadow Lake police were call to the West end of the city on November 24th on report of a shooting.

At the scene police and paramedics located a 17 year old boy suffering from a gunshot wound. The boy was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.

Police are searching for a person of interest who has been described as 5’8″, 102 pounds and was wearing a grey Burton hat, glasses, a red hoodie with black writing and black Adidas track pants.
