Kelvin Kim Pasap found dead in Regina

Regina police were dispatched at approximately 8:06 a.m on October 25th, to the 1000 block of Atkinson Street for a report of an unresponsive man.

Police and paramedics located the victim, 26 year old Kelvin Kim Pasap, paramedics declared him deceased at the scene. The cause of death has not been released by police.

Man dies after assault in Montreal

Montreal police were called to the area of Jeanne-d’Arc Avenue and Ste-Catherine Street East on October 27th at approximately 10:30 pm on report of an unresponsive man lying on the ground.

Police and paramedics located the man suffering from upper body injuries made with sharp weapon.

The 39 year old victim was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries. SPVM spokesperson Manuel Couture said the victim was known to police, and the death is believed to be drug related.

Update: Man shot to death in Surrey

Surrey RCMP responded to a report of shots fired in the 11300 block of Alpen Place on October 27th at approximately 8:55pm.

Police arrived at the scene to find one man dead and another man suffering from a gunshot wound. The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has taken over the case.

More information will be added as it becomes available.

Update Oct.31

Police have identified the deceased as Randeep “Randy” Kang, 27. Lang was known to police for previous drug and weapon offences.

Update Victim Identified – Man in his 20’s found dead in Calgary

Calgary Police were called to an apartment building in the 3400 block of 31 A Avenue S.E. on October 28th at approximately 3:30am.

On arrival police located a man in his 20’s deceased. The Homicide unit has taken over the investigation. Police said the name of the victim will be released once the autopsy is complete.

Update November 2
Police have identified the victim as  Mvemba Eriq Afonso, 23. Mourad Gasmi, 21, and Shannoh Jabet, 22, both of Calgary, have been arrested on Canada-wide warrants‎ for second-degree murder and have been remanded into custody in Montreal.

Josephine Glenn found dead in London Ontario

A 26 year old woman was reported missing by family on October 23rd to the London police department. Josephine Glenn 26,  was last seen in the Clarke Road and Culver Drive area around 3am on October 22nd.

On October 27th London police received information about the missing womans possible whereabouts at a home on South Leaksdale Circle. Police located the remains of theGlenn at the scene, and made an arrest.

A 25 year old Oluwatobi Boyede has been charged with second degree murder and indignity to a human body

No other information will be released at this time as a publication ban has been placed.

Update: charges laid in Toronto homicide 53 – Henryk Dabrowski stabbed to death

Toronto police responded to an Unknown Trouble in the Wakunda Place and O’Connor Drive area on October 28th at approximately 8:50pm.

Police arrived to find Henryk Dabrowski, 60, of Toronto suffering from a serious injury in an apartment. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy was conducted on October 29th, revealed the cause of death to be a stab wound to the torso.

Update January 20th
Toronto police arrested Gary Seymour Scott, 37, on January 17th and charged him with second degree murder in relation to the death of Henryk Dabrowski.

Darwin Sheppard, charged with manslaughter in relation to the death of Brendan Ross Akachuk

Regina police were called to a house in the 1100 block of Queen Street on October 15th at approximately 11:30 am on report of an unresponsive male.

Police locates the victim, Brendan Ross Akachuk, 25, of Regina suffering from serious injuries. Akachuk was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries a few days later.

Darwin Sheppard 25, was originally charged with Aggravated Assault, however his charge has been upgraded to manslaughter.

Police shoot a Man after he kills his 76 year old wife in Northumberland Hills Hospital ER

Cobourg Police Service received a call for reports of gun shots inside the Northumberland Hills Hospital at approximately 11:00pm on October 27th.

On arrival two police officers had an interaction with 70-year-old man inside the emergency room of the hospital, when both officers shot at the man. The 70 year old man was hit and died at the scene.

Police said a 70 year old man and his 76 year old wife were at the Northumberland Hills Hospital for undisclosed reasons, and while in a room together a gunshot was heard. Nursing staff said the woman suffered a head wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The SIU is urging anyone who may have information about this investigation to contact the lead investigator at 1-800-787-8529.

Death of 3 year old Ivy Wick being investigated as a homicide

Emergency crews were called to a home in the 5300 block of Rundlehorn Drive N.E., for a report of a child in medical distress on September 27th at approximately 11:30am.

Police said 3 year old Ivy Wick was taken to hospital with significant injuries. Calgary police reported that Doctors at the hospital said Ivy’s injuries were not consistent with a fall. Ivy ward was taken off life support on October 5th.

Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation. According to Calgary police the death of Ivy Wick has not been ruled a homicide by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner as further test results are pending, however, the case is being investigated as such.

Jordan Gregory Frydenlund dies after serious assault in Calgary

Calgary police were called to the 700 block of 67 Avenue S.W. around 8:20 pm, October 27th,  on report of a disturbance.

Police arrived to find Jordan Gregory Frydenlund 30, suffering from serious injuries. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics.

Police are looking for the public’s help to locate Jonathan Sylvanus Francis Sylvester.
