Vancouver police were asked to check in on the welfare of the residents of a home on West 64th Avenue near Hudson Street on September 27, around 1:30 pm.
Police arrived to find a 60 year old woman, and a 60 year old man dead. The BC Coroners Service is working on identifying the victims.
Constable Jason Doucette of VPD has said that the deaths do not appear to be a murder suicide.
Update September 29th
Vancouver police are asking for help from the public in locating a 2014 White Kia Soul with B.C. licence plate ACK 605. Do not approach the vehicle and call 9-1-1 if you see it. This vehicle is associated to the residence where the two people were found dead, and is unaccounted for.

The victims have been identified as married couple, Dianna Mah-Jones, 65, and Richard Jones, 68, of Vancouver. Police have yet to determine if the act was random or targeted.
The investigation is still in it’s early stages. Vancouver police are urging anyone who may have information about these deaths to call 604-717-2500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
Whitehorse RCMP responded to a reported shooting in Porter Creek, at the area of Alaska Highway and Wann Road on September 20th at approximately 6:40pm.
Police said two vehicles were involved in the incident. Police said the vehicle driven by the victim was in close proximity to what they believe was a red pick up truck. The person in the red truck fired several times injuring the driver of the other vehicle, before fleeing the scene.
The 25 year old victim was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries on September 21st.
Update October 8th
Police have identified the victim as Mohamed Nagiel Saddek Nagem 25. No arrests have been made at this time. Investigators are urging any witnesses to contact police at 667-5555, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
Ottawa police and paramedics responded to reports of gunshots in the 1500 block of Caldwell Avenue on September 20th at 3:20pm.
Emergency crews arrived to find 20 year old Hamzeh Serhan suffering from a gunshot wound. Serhan was rushed to hospital in critical condition where he died of his injuries.

Ottawa Police have asked for the public’s assistance in locating Farah Handule, 20, of Toronto. Handul has been charged with second-degree murder in the fatal shooting of Hamzeh Serhan, 20, on September 20th. Farah Handule is described as 6’1” , 150 lbs with a dark complexion. If seen, contact 911.
