Radek and Ryder MacDougall died at the hands of their father in Alberta murder suicide

RCMP said they received a 911 call in the morning of December 19th at 2 Haney Ct in Spruce Grove.

Two boys Radek and Ryder MacDougall ages 11 and 13 and their father Corry MacDougall, were found dead in the home. Police are treating the deaths as a murder suicide.

The 911 call came from Tina and Brent Stark, the mother and stepfather of the two boys who had gone to pick them up for the holidays.

The cause of death has not been released at this time.


Toronto Homicide 68: Faysal Mohamed Hees

Toronto Police responded to a medical call at 2067 Islington ave on December 19th at around 9am. Police arrived to find a man in medical distress, suffering from life threatening injuries.

Police first had the death listed as suspicious, and at around 7pm the Toronto Homicide Squad took over.

The name of the victim and the cause of death has not been released at this time.

The victim has been identified as Faysal Mohamed Hees 26.

Toronto Homicide #67: Kareem Hastings found dead

Toronto police responded to a medical complaint on December 17th at around 2:45 pm at 2089 Lawrence Ave West.

Police arrive to find Kareem Hastings, 22, in the stairwell of the building, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police believe the shooting happened just after midnight on December 17th, and urge anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477)

Lauren Queqezance found dead on Little Black Bear First Nation

RCMP were called to a home on Little Black Bear First Nation on December 15th on report of an unresponsive woman. Police arrived to find Lauren  Queqezance 33 dead outside.

Sherman Luke Bellegarde was arrested at the scene and charged with second degree murder. Bellgarde and Queqezance were known to each-other.

Police have not released the cause of death.

Update Ottawa Homicide 23 & 24: Asma A-Noor and Nasiba A-Noor found dead in Ottawa

Ottawa Police responded to a call of two women found dead in a home in the area of McCarthy Road and Paul Anka Dr on December 16th at around.

Police said the victim’s are ages 29 and 32, however their names and cause of death will not be released at this time.

Ottawa police have a suspect in custody.

Update December 18th

Musab A-Noor 29, has been charged with first and second degree murder in the deaths of Asma A-Noor, 32, and Nasiba A-Noor, 29. Police said both women died of stab wounds.

Toronto’s 66th Homicide: Sarah Vermelhudo dies from a stab wound

Toronto Police were called to the area of College st, and Dufferin on December 16 at around 8pm on report of a person with a knife.

Police found two female victims, and both were rushed to hospital. The first victim was treated and expected to recover, and the second victim Sarah Vermelhudo 38, was pronounced dead.

Police are looking for 21 year old Shayne MacDonald of Toronto. MacDonald is wanted for second degree murder and attempted murder. He is described as 5’10”, 160 lbs.,  and light-brown hair.

Man in his 20’s dead in Torontos 65th homicide of 2016

Toronto police were called to the area outside of Tropics Restaurant and Bar at 260 Markham Rd at around 12:30 am December 14th,  on Report of gunfire.

Homicide detective Det. Jeffrey Tavares said an altercation broke out in front of the restaurant before gunshots. One man in his 20’s ran from the scene collapsing. He was rushed to hospital where he died of gunshot related injuries.

Two other people were injured at the scene, but are expected to survive.

First degree murder charge in Red Earth First Nation death of Ramsay Whitehead

Police responded to report of an unresponsive man on December 10th on Red Earth First Nation.

Police found 29 year old Ramsay Whitehead, and despite life saving efforts Whitehead was pronounced dead at the scene.  An Autopsy has been scheduled for December 13th to determine the cause of death.

Davis Demery Lester Whitehead 24, has been charged with First degree murder and aggravated assault.
