A Homicide investigation has begun after Montreal police located a man’s body in a vehicle at around 9:30am on October 31 in an industrial area of St. Leonard.
Police said the investigation has turned over to the major crimes unit. The name of the victim and the cause of death has not been released at this time.

Police identified the deceased as Steven Constantinou 22. According to police, Constantinou had been missing since Oct. 8

Police were called to a home at around 4 am on October 27th. On arrival police found Tina-Marie Pfeiffer dead in the home.
While on scene police received reports of a man walking the streets in his underwear. Police arrested the man and later identified him as Jordan Koizumi 26, of Red Deer.
An autopsy conducted determined Pfeiffer’s was a homicide and Koizumi has been charged with second degree murder.
The cause of death has not been released at this time. Police have not released the relationship between the victim and the suspect.
Surrey police responded to report of a shooting on 159th Street and 110th Avenue at around 7:30 pm on October 28th in Surrey’s Fraser Heights.
Police arrived to find Vikram Toor, 24, and Ashim Raza, 19 suffering from gunshot wounds in a vehicle in what appeared to be a drive by shooting. The one man was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other man was rushed to hospital when he died of his injuries.
Police believe the shooting was targeted, although neither of the victims were known to police.

At around 12:45 am on October 27th, Kevin Gidden 23, was driven to Toronto Police Service’s 43 Division, 4331 Lawrence Avenue East with a gunshot wound to the head and upper body.
Gidden was transported to hospital where he died of his injuries on October 29th.
Police believe the shooting was targeted and are asking Simeon Harty to turn himself into police. Police said that they have seized a vehicle in Hamilton that Harty was in on the day of the homicide.

Update November 1
Simeon Harty Surrendered himself to police on Tuesday November 1. Hearty has been charged with first degree murder and attempted murder.
Montreal Police responded to report of a stabbing at around 11pm on October 29th. Emergency crews arrived to find a 15 year old boy suffering from atleast one stab wound.
The boy was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries. According to police a fight broke out with a group of people resulting in the fatal stabbing.
A 16 year old male has been arrested and is facing charges.

It has been alleged that the four people lured the 26 year old male victim to a Tim Hortons on October 18th, when they abducted the victim.
The victim was found the following day bound, beaten and stabbed multiple times in an apartment building on 605 Mill Street.
The victim was rushed to hospital where he died October 27th.
Police said the witness who called the assault in was 67 year old Walter Smith. Police believe that Smith was involved in the homicide and has since been charged with forcible confinement and murder.
Windsor police are looking for three other suspects. Dustin Schuh, 26, Daniel Shaw,38, and Melissa Luyton, 32 all of Windsor, are wanted for kidnapping, forcible confinement and murder.
Police responded to report of a stabbing at a homeless camp in the area of Rumble Street and Griffith Dr, October 24th at around 8 p.m.
Police arrived to fins one man dead and another injured. A 53 year old man was arrested at the scene. Police said the attack was targeted and the individuals were known to each other.
The victims name will not be released until his family is notified.
Police have released the name of the victim as Rickey Melanson 48. Samuel James Calladine has been charged with manslaughter.
Kevin Knuff was also murdered in a Burnaby homeless camp on October 9th, however police say the two cases are unrelated.
Police were called to Robertson Crescent on report of human remains found on October 26 just after 7am.
Police said the injuries the man sustained were consistent with foul play, although the cause of death hasn’t been released. Police believe the death is gang related.
The name of the victim will be released after his family is notified.

Update October 28
Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) have identified the deceased as Shaun Clary 27.
Campbellton RCMP officers were called to a Val-d’Amour, N.B home after firefighters found the body of 71 year old Lucille Maltais after the house fire was extinguished.
Investigators believe the October 22 fire was intentionally set. The investigation is still in its early stages, anyone with any information should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Edmonton police said that they have laid their first manslaughter charge in relation to a fatal fentanyl overdose that took the life of 33 year old Szymon Kalich.
Police responded to report of an unresponsive male on January 27th in a home around 33 Street and 18 Avenue. Kalich was pronounced dead at the scene. Autopsy and toxicology proved Kalich died of a fentanyl overdose.
Jordan Yarmey, 25, was arrested on Monday October 24th and charged with manslaughter in relation to the death of Kalich.
Szymon Kalich is Edmontons 36th homicide of 2016.
