Robert Veltheer’s body was found at a home on Harding Boulevard in Richmond Hill, at around 9pm on February 7th. York Regional Police said 77 year old Veltheer was found with “obvious signs of trauma” on his body.
A woman who lived in the home with Veltheer and his son, was the one who called 911. Police have not said how the woman is related, or who the home belonged to.
It was revealed shortly after that Veltheer was stabbed. Police found the weapon at the scene, but aren’t disclosing what it was at this time.
Jacob Veltheer, 30, the son of Robert, was spotted by police walking on Highway 48 on February 8th around 1:30 pm, he was arrested and charged with first degree murder.
Emergency crews were called to the parking lot of Dave & Busters in Vaughan, at around 3am on February 7th, where they found two men, both 22 suffering from stab wounds.
22 year old Gianluca Cellucci, from Richmond Hill was pronounced dead at the scene, the other man, a 22 year old from Aurora was rushed to hospital but is expected to survive.
Nick Bagherzadeh, 20, of Richmond Hill, was arrested and will be charged with second degree murder and attempted murder.

Police were called to Masta’s Lounge in Brampton at about 4:36 a.m on February 7th. On arrival they found one male, suffering from one or more gunshot wounds.
The man who has not been named, was rushed to hospital where he died.
No other details have been made public at this time.
Police found Mavis Ducharme, 39 in front of a home in the area of 500 block of Stella Avenue at around 5am on February 6th. Ducharme was suffering from serious injuries and was rushed to hospital where she was in critical condition, and passed away a short time after arriving.
Police said the homicide unit has been notified and is investigating.

Investigators have found out that a man and a woman, both 23 years old, forced themselves into the home of Ducharme, and attacked her and her husband.
Ducharme ran to a neighbours home but was attacked by the two people again. Police have stated that the assault was drug related. The 23 year old man has been charged with second degree murder and the 23 year old woman has been charged with manslaughter.
Brantford police responded to a call of a domestic disturbance in a townhouse complex on Sympatica Crescent at around 3am on February 6th.
Officers found John Liggins 44, suffering from a stab wound in the home. He was rushed to Brantford hospital where he died of his injuries.
Tara Lynn Koiter 32, the victim’s common law partner of 6 years, was arrested at the scene, and has since been charged with second degree murder.
Campbellton RCMP responded to call on February 3rd, after receiving a report that a man had been badly injured. Stéphane Levesque, 34 was airlifted to Moncton Hospital but died shortly after arrival from his injuries.
Jean-Yves Landry, 44 and Yannick Landry, 19 were arrested on February 4th and charged with first degree murder. The pair are expected in Court to face the allegations on February 8th.
17 year old Saed Kaylie is Toronto’s 11th murder of the year. Police were called to the apartment complex at around 7pm on February 3rd.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found Saed Kaylie suffering from stab wounds at the back of the building in the West Mall, Rathburn Rd area. Kylie was pronounced dead at the scene.

Around 3:30am on February 4th, Hamilton were called to a home on hwy 56 in Glanbrook on reports of a shooting. The victim did not live at the home, but was apparently trying to steal the homeowner’s truck when he was shot. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The homeowner has been arrested. Police are not releasing the name of the victim or the assailant at this time.
The homeowner Peter Khill 26, has been charges with second degree murder. Police still have not released the name of the victim.
Police have identified the victim as Jonathon Dwight Styres, 29, of Ohsweken. An autopsy examination is scheduled for Friday.
