The month of June saw thirty three murders. Eight of the murders were women, the other twenty five were men. Seven of the murders are still unsolved with no suspects.
11 of the murders were stabbings.
10 were shootings.
4 were violent beatings.
1 was vehicular (assailant ran over gas station attendant during robbery)

Out of the eight women murdered, two were stabbings, one was a shooting, three were beaten to death, one was vehicular and one still unreleased. The youngest female victim was 22 and the oldest was 79.
Out of the twenty five men murdered, nine were stabbings, nine shootings, one was beaten to death, and six were unreleased. The youngest male victim was 12 and the oldest was 74.
A 21 year old Serge Ngabo Saninga is dead after a drive by shooting in the middle of the day on August 23. The un-named man was walking in the area of Robert Blvd, in St-Michel around 3:30pm when a car drove past as the passenger opened fire.
The man was rushed to hospital where he later died.
Montreal police asked anyone with information about this incident, the Info-Crime line at 514-393-1133.
Aiwernogheno Osawe 34, was fatally shot in the back near Jane Street and Maple Leaf Drive in Toronto August 23. Osawe was rushed to hospital but dies shortly after arrival.
No arrests have been made.
Shaka Reid 36 was shot dead Near the intersection of Sherbourne Avenue and Dundas St East Toronto, on August 19th.
Police believe that Reid was killed in a targeted shooting with a single gunshot to the chest. Images of a white Ford Taurus have been released in hopes of finding the assailant who shot him.

Police were called to Hanson Road around 5:30 p.m on August 12th on repoets of an altercation.
Police say David Hennessey 27 was found with stab wounds. He was transported to hospital where he died a short time after. A second man was treated in hospital and has since been arrested in Hennessey’s death. No charges have been laid at this time.
Peel Regional Police say officers responded to a “sudden death” call at a highrise on Kennedy Rd. S., in Brampton, on August 14th.
Upon arrival officers found 44 year old Galina Alexander dead with obvious signs of trauma.
Police determined that the sudden death was a murder and arrested Alexander’s 23 year old son Hassan Salifu.
**Police would like to speak to anyone who knew either Alexander or her son, or who may have seen or heard anything prior to or after Saturday’s incident.

The bodies of Lori and Wayne Constable were found by police after a relative reported not being able to get in contact with the Constables on August 13th.
Police believe that Lori, 55, was smothered by her husband, Wayne, 55 in their Waterdown home. Wayne Constable’s cause of death is still unknown as investigators await toxicology results.
18-year-old Shariek Douse was shot and killed in Hamilton’s North End on August 12.
Police and paramedics were called to a community housing complex on MacNab Street North near Simcoe Street. Witnesses say they heard 3 gunshots, and saw a teen in a red shirt running away.
What lead to Shariek Douse being shot and killed on August 12th stemmed from a “previous stupid Twitter beef,” his cousin and friends say.

August 12, 10:30 a.m., Burnaby RCMP were called to the Midlawn Drive after a report of shots fired and a man lying in the street.
Igor Bradaric was suffering from gunshot wounds, paramedics attempted to revive him but he died at the scene.

Police have charged 53-year-old Joseph James Greene in connection with the homicide of 47-year-old Patrick Earnest Deagle in.
Police arrived to an Enfield home on August 12, responding to a weapons complaint. Thats where they found Deagle suffering from a gunshot wound.
Paramedics attempted to revive the victim, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
