15-year-old charged in the shooting death of a 17-year-old in Winnipeg

Winnipeg police responded to a report of a shooting at a residence located in the 1000 block of Sherburn Street, on November 10th at approximately 12:20am.

Police arrived to find a 17-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. The teen was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.

A 15-year-old male youth was arrested at the scene and charged with  Manslaughter (Firearm), Cause Death by Criminal Negligence (Firearm), Discharge Firearm in a Reckless Manner, Possession of Firearm Contrary to Probation Order, Fail to Comply with Probation Order.
